un Magazine has returned with a new volume that celebrates art writing in all its forms. The goal of this edition is to extend and explore the creative possibilities of critical and visual art writing as a literary form. edited by Rosemary Forde, un mAgazine 2.1 is a compendium of crafted approaches to art writing, including responses to exhibitions in 2007-08, essays, features, collaborative works, creative texts and text-based artworks. it offers innovative ways to engage with art practice through different forms of writing, as well as creating in-depth discussion around contemporary art works.

un Magazine
published seven issues from 2004-2006 and played a significant role in Melbourne’s art community. With the intention of developing a new approach to visual art discourse and publishing, un Magazine intends to support and encourage critical dialogue in the local art community.
