The Typographica theme for Wordpress is based on a version of Scott Allan Wallick’s Blogtxt theme. The typography is by Adam Gilhespy, based on Herbert Spencer’s influential journal Typographica. The user customisability of Blogtxt remains, including menu controls over type size and face, column width and allignment, and a choice of two or three-column layouts. Spencer’s ‘new series’ layout made for an exceptionally open page, and this has been carried through to the Wordpress blogging/content management platform in this theme.
